Happy 7 months to my sweet baby!
I can't believe that it's already been 7 whole months. This month has been great, Vivien is getting so fun, interactive, and smart! She still isn't a very good sleeper, but at least it's pretty predictable when we'll be up in the night. I love my little lady more than anything, she is my sweet princess.
Vivien has started making new sounds. She says, "Blah blah blah" "Duh duh duh" "Muh muh muh." I absolutely LOVE how she talks so much now.
Viv finally has a great day schedule, she takes 2 naps (the length ranges anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour and a half long). She also still wakes up 2 times each night to eat, I look forward to the day she sleeps through the night.
Our girl is getting some major stranger anxiety. She will freak out if anyone other than the "usuals" hold her. We love it because we know she loves being with us, but we don't love it because we want her to be able to be held by other people than just us. She especially gets freaked out around old people.
Vivien is finally getting a good amount of hair (at least a good amount for her haha!) I love when we slick her hair to the side, I think it's adorable.
I think I said this last month, but she LOVES cups. She is really good at drinking water out of them now!
Vivien loves wrapping paper and unwrapping presents. (I'll be doing a separate Christmas post in the future.)
Viv loves the Harry Potter Puppet Pals: Mysterious Ticking Noise video on Youtube. The second the music starts playing, she gets this huge cheeser grin on her face! (The pic above is while she's watching it haha!)
Vivien is rolling a little more often now. She hates being on her belly so she never voluntarily rolls onto it. Whenever we put her on her belly, she rolls right onto her back.
Viv LOVES to clap and loves when other people clap for her.
She loves to spit and make farting noises with her mouth.
Ever since we started her on formula, she poops 3-4 times a day! At least she's regular!
Sometimes she does little waves if you wave to her. I'm not sure she knows what she's doing, but it's adorable anyway!
Vivien LOVES to play the piano. Especially if you hold her above the keys, she loves to pound away with her cute little feet!
She loves the camcorder, she knows the sound of it turning on and stops everything to look for it.
Vivien always finds the tags on toys and sucks on them. She loves the tags more than the toys!
Viv loves to dance. When you turn music on, she starts wiggling like crazy. She especially loves Gangnam Style.
Just this week, she learned that if she pats her mouth while making noise, it makes an even better sound! If I do it first, she copies me! It's so fun to see her learning so much!
This girl got her first tooth (bottom left) on December 12th! I LOVE it! It's the cutest, pointest, sharpest little thing! She got the bottom right one TODAY, Merry Christmas! She had a really rough night when the first one was coming in, poor little lady.
Viv really enjoyed Christmas today! We had a lot of parties and got overwhelmed a few times but over all she did really well.
She loves sitting in new places. Laundry baskets, shopping carts, boxes, etc.
Viven isn't crawling yet but she loves to push her way up all over, whether I'm holding her or if she's sitting on the couch, she loves to climb!
She now eats rice, oatmeal, carrots, and peas. We will add in sweet potatoes soon and then it's onto fruit! Yum! I love the pic below because she looks so angry..."Carrots again?!" She actually loves eating!
Vivien is pretty intrigued with snow. We love looking out the windows at all the white!
She always laughs when I brush my teeth, so I gave her a toothbrush to play with while I'm brushing. I will get her a baby tooth brush soon!
Here is Vivien and her friend Hadley, she is 1 month older than Viv.
She has been LOVING having her dad home more often. We are NOT ready for him to go back to school!
We love our sweet girl more and more everyday, we are so lucky to have her.
She woke up this morning with a runny nose :( this is her first time being sick, but she has still been happy as a clam!
We LOVE our sweet girl!
Dear Viv,
Where has the time gone my sweet baby girl? You are getting so big and I can't believe you are mine. A lot of scary things happened in the world this month that made me appreciate your health and safety more than ever. I have been holding you extra tight and long lately, I wish I could shelter and protect you forever, but I know someday you will want and need to experience this dark and scary world for yourself. I pray constantly for your safety. I hope you know how loved you are. I will love and support you no matter where you are, what you're doing, or who you're with. I want you to have the confidence in knowing that you are, and will forever be, loved unconditionally. You always have somewhere to turn and parents who love you. You're never alone. I love you so much, I always will. You have the sweetest personality and the most gorgeous smile. You are smart, fun, and beautiful inside and out.
Love, Mom
