9 months! Three quarters of a year! I can't believe how fast time goes, I feel like the months go faster and faster the older Vivien gets. It has been a good month! Viv is THEE busiest girl on the planet. She always has to be going, looking at everything, grabbing and touching anything in sight, she keeps us busy! We love our girl SOOO so much, we still can't believe that she is ours sometimes. She is SO adorable and we are so lucky to have such a sweet lady!

Vivien has become a professional head shaker. She knows that it means NO! If you try to give her food when she isn't hungry...SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE. If someone she isn't comfortable with tries to take her...SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE. It's really cute, she's SO smart!
Viv LOVES to walk around the house. She has GREAT balance and can basically stand on her own...but she won't, she has to be holding onto someones fingers or she panics.
We have ourselves a little waver. She doesn't do it consistently yet, but she will wave most of the time if you wave first. She sometimes also says "buh buh" when you say goodbye to her, cutest ever!
If she wants to get up and walk around, she will pull and tug on your hands until you get up and walk. Once again, so smart!
{Chillin' with Dad}
This month, we had 3 straight nights of sleeping through the night (like 8pm-7:30am), greatest ever. But it was just a tease, she started getting up twice a night again after that...little goose.
BUT...this week, we decided that it's time she start sleeping! Tonight will be night 3 of sleeping with the monitor off until 5am. At first I had major anxiety about it, but I'm getting better. She has done really well with it!

Viv loves water, she loves to splash, and she loves to go swimming!
Vivien has great fine motor skills. She picks very small objects up with ease. Such a champ!

Viv LOVES books. One of her favorites is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. She is SO good at turning pages. Let's hope she keeps her love of books throughout her life...I'm already forcing Harry Potter on her...haha jk...but seriously!

This lady LOVES to be outside, even though it's never above freezing here! We just bundle her up and go out, she loves every second of it.

She got a new highchair upstairs AND downstairs this month. She loves to sit in it to eat, play, or just watch things going on in the kitchen!

My cousin Braelee is one of the only people (other than me, Chris, my parents, and Cole) that Viv will go to without crying. We love Brae!
Viv isn't very interested in bottles anymore, her 1st morning bottle is always 6oz but then we are lucky if she will drink even a 4oz bottle the rest of the day.
Headbands don't last long on her head. Sometimes she snaps them right onto her face/eyes, so sad!

Vivien loves to be naked. She just rolls and squeals when she has a free bum! We always make sure to put lots of padding down under her blankets because she tends to pee when she is all free!

Grandma Park is Viv's favorite person. She gets SO excited to see her. Most of the time she cries when she has to come back to me after being with Grandma...it's okay though, it's a grandma's job to spoil her babies!
When you clap for her, she gets all alert and yells "ohhhhhh ohhh ohhh" and bangs her belly like Tarzan.

She also loves Uncle Ty even though she has never met him. She waves to his cut-out and hugs him every time we hold her up to him.
Vivien loves my hair, I think it's comforting for her, she loves to play with it, snuggle it to her face, and loves to chomp on it (I used to think it was kind of gross, but now I just accept it haha!)
She LOVES to bury her head in soft things, especially her crib blanket (the one in the pic above).
Viv is SO social, she loves talking and waving to everyone at the store from the cart.

We finally stopped swaddling this month!! She is doing really well with it! I'm so relieved, I think she is too!

Vivien is so good at standing on her own next to things, she almost pulls herself up, she just needs a little help still.
We have started giving her a really big variety of food, she LOVES to eat! She has basically loved everything we have given her so far!

When she walks, she sometimes does this funny marching thing where she keeps her legs perfectly straight and walks around like a soldier, so funny and cute!

Hello my sweet peach! What a great month we have had together! You are growing up SO fast, I can't believe that you used to just be this tiny little newborn! How is it possible that you have learned and grown so much in only 9 months? You are so beautiful and have the sweetest spirit. You have the most angelic eyes that brighten my day faster than anything else. I love you so much, I can't wait to see what this next month will bring us, you learn and progress so much every day! I will love you forever and ever, never forget that. You'll always be my sweet princess, I will do anything for you, you are my world, Vivien.
